About
A Brisbane studio for businesses that work with their hands.
Why we exist
Good trades deserve better websites.
Australia runs on small service businesses — painters, pest controllers, concreters, cleaners, mechanics. Most are excellent at the work and invisible online: no website, a dead link, or a page built in 2013 that doesn't load properly on the phones their customers are actually using.
The traditional fix is an agency quote somewhere between $3,000 and $10,000 — for a five-page site. That maths doesn't work for a sole trader, so the website never happens, and the calls go to whoever ranks.
Sheppard Industries was founded by Ted Sheppard in Brisbane to close that gap: a structured, AI-assisted production process with every site reviewed and finished by a person. The hours an agency bills disappear; the things that matter — clear words, working forms, fast pages — don't.
How we work
Four principles we don't bend.
Plain language
Your customers don't search for 'holistic service solutions'. They search for a painter in their suburb. We write the way your customers actually speak.
Honest claims only
We never put anything on your website that isn't true — no invented reviews, no padded experience, no 'award-winning' unless you actually won one.
Your assets stay yours
Your domain is registered in your name. Your content belongs to you. If you ever leave, we export everything and hand it over without drama.
Small by design
No account managers, no ticket queues, no hand-offs. You deal with the person who builds and runs your site.
Start with a draft

Tell us about your business and we'll draft it — you don't pay until you approve.
